Ready-to-Wear Swimwear
The modern commercial swimwear industry provides common shoppers such high quality garments with such variety, ease of accessibility and reasonable prices, that many take swimsuits for granted. Fabrics contain increasingly higher percentages of lycra and other performance fibers; cuts range from workout-ready tanks and water shorts to sun-loving glamorkinis. And for style, beach fashions run the gamut from flirty retros and stunning avant gardes to timeless classics, many with designer details. Who'd have guessed all this would be available at outlets like Target and Costco?
And here's the best news: hard-to-fit women aren't excluded from this bounty. Specialty lines are making one-piece, bikini and tankini suits in cuts and colors to meet many tastes. Prices are about equivalent to medium-to-high-quality regular-sized suits and the workmanship to match. And since they cater to a special clientele, most brands present their collections as separates, giving buyers the best possible fit on both top and bottom. Although most of the brands presented here won't yet be found at your local big-box club store, they're only as far away as your favorite internet search engine!
