Having a swimsuit designed, fitted and sewed to one's own specifications is a secret dream for many. For something so closely linked to our self image it can be worth the expenditure and effort to go the custom route. And for those with perhaps extreme fitting issues, it may be a welcome solution. Seamstresses who specialize in fully-custom swimwear are often experienced in figure-flattering designs and can be open to special services such as incorporating a well-fitting commercial bra into your suit construction. They may also be willing to sell or give you the pattern when finished.
