A Word About the Forum

The Bra Connection Community Forum is a place where women offer help to each other. Everyone on the forum is donating their time and expertise to help others. As such, everyone on the forum should be treated with courtesy and respect. In addition, to make the forum run as smoothly as possible, please follow the guidelines given below.

Before Posting

In order to reduce the number of largely redundant posts, please do the following before posting:

  • Search the boards. Often, your question will have been asked by someone else, and they've gotten an answer that will help you too. When searching, search all appropiate boards and set the 'This post was made in the last...' field to 'year' or '(all posts)'. This will ensure that you search through a proper range of topics.

Posting

If you are unable to find your answers by searching the boards, or if the answer was incomplete or not quite correct for your situation, feel free to post your question on the forum. Please follow this procedure.

  • Create your own topic. Do not jump into another persons topic. This only creates confusion and makes the board harder to search. Even if the problems seems similar to you, more often than not, the answer to your request will be something different from the original posters.
  • Limit a thread to a single topic, and preferably to a single question or small number of very closely related questions. Doing so makes the threads easier to follow.
  • Try to ask specific and bounded questions. You are much more likely to get a response.
  • Use a descriptive subject line, and format it properly. No one here will read or reply to your post any faster even if you type the subject in all caps.
  • Make sure you include the relevant data in your help request. Usually, the more accurate information, the better we can help you. However, also try to be suscinct. Fewer people read long posts.
  • Make sure you post in the most appropriate board.
  • Do not double post! Double posting only marks you as an annoyance, and does not help you in getting answers any faster. Post your request in one board only. All double posts will be removed.
  • Acknowledge peoples responses to your posts and let them know how their suggestions worked out for you.
